Release Rituals

Many of us were never taught the art of letting go.

Sometimes, we know it is time to put down our old hurts, grudges, resentment and bitterness - yet we don't know how. The work of a release ritual is to open the possibility of letting go and moving into a different future. It gives us a chance to be with all of ourselves, including the parts of our lives that have suffered terribly. And in that being with, something new can emerge: a little more freedom, forgiveness, or simply space where the burden of an old story used to be.

Who are release rituals for?

If you are stuck, unresolved or caught in emotions, a release ritual offers a way of intentionally meeting what you are carrying. It may be the end of a relationship, conflict with a family member, or something that happened long ago that somehow still has a hold on you.

I have seen the possibilities of that opening in ways I could never have predicted. After one release ritual, a woman who had released her past loves met a new partner shortly afterwards. Rationally, that's hard to explain. A release ritual isn't a way of getting something, but somehow it is the work of ceremony to create a shift at a soul level and open up possibilities.

Creating your ceremony

In crafting your release ritual, I draw on nine years of training in psychotherapy and process work, alongside my experience of ceremony, ritual and forgiveness. Together, we focus on what you are ready to meet and release, creating a ceremony that marks the possibility of putting something down and making space for whatever may come next.

You may choose to share the ceremony with a small gathering, have me there alongside you, or work with me to create something you do privately.
