This website is run by Peter Lloyd, an interfaith minister and marriage celebrant based at Crystal Waters, Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland. I take your privacy seriously. This page explains what I collect, why, and what I do with it.
What I collect
When you use the contact form I collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and the message you write. If you email me directly, I keep your email and my reply. If you become a client, I will also keep the details needed to plan and conduct your ceremony and, for weddings, to complete the legal paperwork.
The website itself may also collect basic visit information, such as pages viewed and the type of device used. [Delete this paragraph if no analytics is installed, or name the tool, for example Google Analytics.]
Why I collect it
I use your details to reply to your enquiry, to arrange a conversation, and to plan and deliver your ceremony. I do not use them for anything else.
Who sees it
Only me. I never sell your details or share them for marketing. I may share information where it is needed to carry out your ceremony (for example, the government registry for a legal marriage), or where the law requires it. The website and its contact form are hosted by [hosting company] and the form is processed by [form plugin], which store your message on my behalf.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for [12 months] if they do not lead to a ceremony, and client records for as long as the law requires. You can ask me to delete your details at any time.
Keeping it safe
I take reasonable steps to protect your information, including secure hosting and spam protection on the contact form. No online system is completely secure, so please do not put anything in the form that you would not be comfortable sending by email.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email me at [EMAIL] and I will reply within [14] days.
